What is
immunotherapy?

Immunotherapy is a type of treatment that works with the body’s immune system to fight cancer. Immunotherapy is given as an infusion directly into your bloodstream, through a needle placed in a vein (usually in your arm or the back of your hand). It is a doctor-prescribed medicine and is usually administered at a treatment centre.1
